Inaugurated in 1975, Gardaland was created from a project of the Venetian entrepreneur Livio Furini, who, inspired by Disneyland, wanted to build a similar structure in Italy. The park is structured in themed areas that recall, through a careful and detailed scenic reconstruction, the world of history and geography, space and fantasy.
