From rural craftsmanship to industrial technology: this is the main topic of the Olive Oil Museum
The tour includes an impressive lever press, a fully functioning water-powered olive press and other original examples of this device and other specialised equipment. During the visit, videos are shown illustrating the history of the olive and the oil, two elements that have characterised the history and civilisation of the Mediterranean peoples. There is a farm shop next to the museum with olive oil tasting specialities.
