Affi

Affi, a gateway to Lake Garda for tourists from Northern Europe

The rapid commercial and urban development of Affi has been due to the opening of the ‘Affi-Lago di Garda Sud’ tollgate on the Brennero motorway in the 1970s, thanks to which the town became a real gateway for Italian and foreign tourists from the north. The terrain configuration in the municipality offers some outstanding landscape elements such as Mount Moscal, a summit that dominates the territory, the morainic amphitheatre of Rivoli, which testifies to the glacial phase that shaped the territory of Affi in the Quaternary, and the Valsorda that from Incaffi descends to Bardolino on Lake Garda.
