Brentino Belluno

Enjoy Brentino Belluno

Brentino Belluno is located north-east of Verona, at the beginning of the Valdadige (Adige Valley). Framed by two mountain ranges, the Baldo on one side and the Lessinia on the other, it is followed along its entire length by the second most important river in Italy. The Veneto municipality comprises four communities: Belluno, Brentino, Rivalta and Preabocco. The historic village of Brentino has been a place of pilgrimage since the 1500s because of the approach to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Corona, suspended among the rocks. The morphology of the area offers also an opportunity for numerous sports activities such as rock climbing, rafting down the Adige River and canyoning in the Vajo dell’Orsa.

What to do in Brentino

Brentino offers a plethora of sporting, cultural and gastronomic events. The municipality is easily accessible by bicycle via the Adige-Sole cycle route and provides an ample opportunity for excursions, including a visit to the Tibetan bridge, which can be reached from Brentino via a 1 hour 30-minute walk. Many farmhouses offer dishes prepared with local products accompanied by Valdadige wines. In addition to Chardonnay, Pinot blanc, Pinot Gris and Schiava, the sub-zone includes specialities for Enantio, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon.
