Brenzone sul Garda
Brenzone sul Garda
Brenzone sul Garda, between nature and old villages
To the north of Lake Garda and at the foot of Monte Baldo, there are many typical fishing villages with their small harbours, surrounded by hilltop towns.
This is Brenzone sul Garda and its various villages on the lake: Assenza, Porto, Magugnano and Castelletto; others are located on the slopes of the mountains: Sommavilla, Pozzo, Borago, Zignago, Castello, Venzo, Boccino, Campo, Fasor and Biaza, and finally Prada on the rugged slopes of Monte Baldo.A cable car departs from here allowing you to enjoy a unique panorama and connect to cycle paths and mountain bike trails.
What to do in Brenzone
Brenzone sul Garda is a pearl set on the Veronese shore of the lake, a popular tourist destination and transit point for trade between the Po Valley and the Alps. This immense potential, which combines holidays on the lake (sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing) and in the mountains (trekking, Nordic walking, mountain biking), makes Brenzone sul Garda the perfect destination for the most demanding visitors. An experience not to be missed is the Nordic Walking Park, inaugurated in 2015, where you can walk along beautiful paths immersed in centuries-old olive groves and the natural landscapes typical of the area. The fantastic restaurants and trattorias where you can taste typical local products are an added value to the rich natural environment. The climate is always mild and therefore allows the flourishing of olive trees, cypresses, oleanders and holm oaks in the area along the lake. At higher altitudes, however, the strip of mixed coppice forest begins, while at altitudes between 500 and 900 metres the chestnut tree reigns supreme.
