Garda, a small pearl on the lake, among history, poets, fishermen and enchanting landscapes

Garda is known as the town that, in the early Middle Ages, gave its name to the entire lake because of its strategic, military and political importance, thanks to the imposing fortress that stood on its headland. Legend, history, folklore and nature are the pillars that have always distinguished this pretty and picturesque town, which since the late 1950s has been able to transform itself from a small fishing village into a modern and well-serviced tourist centre. Feel invited to visit this enchanting village to capture the atmosphere that has bewitched artists and poets of every era.
