The rocky valley of Monte Baldo

The Valle dell’Orsa, commonly nicknamed ‘vajo’ because of its particular rocky formations, is the largest valley in terms of length in the Monte Baldo group, going across the main ridge and the one overlooking Vallagarina.

The Vajo dell’Orsa is a magnificent gorge, cut into the limestone of Monte Baldo, appreciated by canyoning enthusiasts and visited for its length and variety of environments (slides, jumps, deep pools of crystal clear water).

Guided tours can be organised by contacting the Info Point of the Municipality of Brentino Belluno. All the necessary equipment will be provided.

An amazing 360-degree panorama of the lake

Reaching the top of Monte Baldo in twenty minutes with the Malcesine cable car is an experience that cannot be missed. Considered to be one of the most spectacular in the world, this installation has a system of fully rotating cabins in the second section, introduced during renovation in 2002.

The starting station is in Malcesine, at an altitude of 99 metres, the intermediate station is in San Michele at 580 metres and the finishing point is in Tratto Spino on Monte Baldo, at 1780 metres. In the second section of the cable car, the cabins rotate 360 degrees, offering a view of the blue lake, the Scaligero Castle in Malcesine and the flora of Mount Baldo. If the sky is completely clear, it is possible to see the Brenta Dolomites, the Apennines and the Venice Lagoon. Reaching the top, you can try one of many trails, fly with a paraglider with a qualified instructor, or go downhill on a mountain bike and experience the thrill of a cross countryride.

A park where the fun begins

Inaugurated in 1975, Gardaland was created from a project of the Venetian entrepreneur Livio Furini, who, inspired by Disneyland, wanted to build a similar structure in Italy.
The park is structured in themed areas that recall, through a careful and detailed scenic reconstruction, the world of history and geography, space and fantasy.

Legoland Water Park, Gardaland’s latest great novelty: the first in Europe!

An area of the park with interactive water games and colourful slides, entirely dedicated to children with the world’s most famous bricks as the main theme.
