The Maroc at Cassone are four blocks of rock in the woods equipped for climbing that also include a bouldering area. The crag has 23 climbing routes of varying difficulty, from 4A to 7B, ideal for those wishing to take up this sport. The crag can be climbed all year round and is located in a shady area.
A fifteen kilometre itinerary which is quite demanding but very varied and satisfying. The route starts in Malcesine on the CAI 659 path and leads to the Hermitage of San Benigno and Caro, passing through many panoramic points on the gorges and towers of Mount Baldo, on Lake Garda and with some beautiful stretches in the woods.
Easy mountain bike route from Monte Baldo to Malcesine. The route is 35 km long and starts at the top station of the Baldo cable car and descends down the east side; if you want a longer ride, you can come back to Malcesine from Torbole (50 km). From the lake to the mountains: explore Garda Veneto.
It is a 11 km of freeride route from Monte Baldo to Malcesine down the west side (1700 metres of altitude difference). It starts from the top station of the Monte Baldo cable car, at Tratto Spino.
For experienced bikers, a 27-kilometre route for the enthusiasts of enduro/freeride and extreme challenges. It starts from the Monte Baldo cable car to reach the 2000 metre summit. The downhill return is ideal if you want to enjoy a fun dirt track down to the lake.
A mountain bike loop route with a moderate slope. The route starts from the information office in Malcesine, at the bus station on the via Gardesana.
The route starts on the flat from Malcesine following the cycle path along the beach to Campagnola and ends by walking slightly uphill along a small pedestrian path among the olive trees along Via Navene Vecchia.
An amazing 360-degree panorama of the lake
Reaching the top of Monte Baldo in twenty minutes with the Malcesine cable car is an experience that cannot be missed. Considered to be one of the most spectacular in the world, this installation has a system of fully rotating cabins in the second section, introduced during renovation in 2002.
The starting station is in Malcesine, at an altitude of 99 metres, the intermediate station is in San Michele at 580 metres and the finishing point is in Tratto Spino on Monte Baldo, at 1780 metres. In the second section of the cable car, the cabins rotate 360 degrees, offering a view of the blue lake, the Scaligero Castle in Malcesine and the flora of Mount Baldo. If the sky is completely clear, it is possible to see the Brenta Dolomites, the Apennines and the Venice Lagoon. Reaching the top, you can try one of many trails, fly with a paraglider with a qualified instructor, or go downhill on a mountain bike and experience the thrill of a cross countryride.
