Point of interest

The museum is housed in the birthplace of Blessed Mother Maria Domenica Mantovani who founded the Institute “Piccole Suore della Sacra Famiglia” together with Blessed Giuseppe Nascimbeni. Located in the historic centre of Castelletto, the building is an interesting example of the architecture of the coastal area of upper Lake Garda. The interior, with late 19th- and early 20th-century furnishing, recreates a typical dwelling of the time and preserves tools and utensils used in typical local activities: fishing, olive growing, sheep farming and silkworm breeding.
